As part of the Department of Atomic Energy’s Swachhata Pakhwada, the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) organized a tree plantation drive at Anupuram Township. Led by Director B. Venkatraman, the initiative saw the planting of over 100 saplings, including guava, gooseberry, jamun, chickoo, and flowering plants.
The event aimed to promote environmental sustainability and foster a culture of cleanliness within the community. Additionally, efforts to collect e-waste and books further underscored IGCAR’s commitment to responsible waste management and community engagement.
