The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Tuesday that the bodies of approximately 1,500 Hamas militants have been discovered inside Israeli territory as the conflict between Hamas and Israel continues. The IDF also stated that 900 Israelis have been killed, including 123 soldiers whose names have been disclosed to the media. Israeli fighter jets recently targeted over 200 sites in Gaza’s Rimal and Khan Yunis neighborhoods.
These airstrikes hit Islamic Jihad terror infrastructure, weapons storage sites in mosques, operational residences of Hamas operatives, and a Hamas operational command center inside a mosque. IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht mentioned that the IDF has almost fully secured the border fence in Gaza and is focusing its offensive on the Gaza Strip. Additionally, Israel has deployed additional troops along the Lebanon border in anticipation of possible Hezbollah attacks.
