IAF developed a new automatic tracking system for fighter jets
The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Maintenance Command has successfully developed an automatic tracking system for fighter jets, and the trials are nearing completion. The system will track the aircraft’s movement and record its exact location every 30 seconds.
Trials for the system have already been conducted in the South-Western and Northern sectors, with further trials scheduled for the Eastern sector. Once the trials are complete and successful, the system will be officially inducted into the IAF.
Air Marshal Vibhas Pande, Air Officer Commanding In Chief of the Maintenance Command of IAF, shared this information with reporters on Thursday.
