IAF Chief Emphasizes the Effective Use of Aerospace Power
Indian Air Force Chief Marshal V. R. Chaudhari asserted that with political will, aerospace power can be strategically utilized beyond enemy lines, as demonstrated by “Balakot-like operations.” He highlighted the increasing reliance on space-based assets for strategic advantage, noting the inevitability of space militarization and weaponization.
Chaudhari underscored the significance of air power in national strength, peacekeeping, and cooperation, envisioning it as a symbol of national strength. Acknowledging the evolving nature of future conflicts, he outlined a scenario characterized by multi-domain operations, precision, enhanced lethality, and intense media scrutiny. He also emphasized the critical role of space in military operations, advocating for seamless communication, navigation, and surveillance capabilities to enhance military forces’ survivability.
