Hyundai India’s Commitment to Empowering the Differently-Abled

Hyundai Motor India, through its Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), has launched a significant initiative to support individuals with disabilities by distributing 684 advanced assistive devices over the next three years. As part of this initiative, 72 devices, including specially designed wheelchairs, hearing aids, digital kits for the visually impaired, and bionic limbs, were distributed in Bengaluru.

Partnering with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, HMIF aims to enhance the mobility, vision, hearing, and communication capabilities of the recipients. This initiative, “Samarth by Hyundai,” underscores the company’s dedication to leveraging technology for societal empowerment and inclusivity. Hyundai also plans to increase awareness about disability in schools and has adopted 20 para-athletes to support their journey.
