Horrific Gang Rape Following Moral Policing Incident in Karnataka

In a disturbing incident, a woman in Karnataka’s Haveri district revealed in a video that she was repeatedly gang-raped by vigilantes after being subjected to moral policing. The victim, a homemaker from the minority community, was forcibly taken from a hotel in Hangal town, beaten up, and subsequently gang-raped by a group of five to six men.

The assailants took her to multiple isolated locations, where she was brutally assaulted and raped. The ordeal continued as she was forced into a car, where the driver also raped her. The victim pleaded for justice in the video, demanding punishment for the perpetrators. The Haveri SP assured that a case would be filed and investigated based on the victim’s statement. The incident highlights the severe consequences of moral policing and the urgent need for legal action against such heinous crimes.
