History-Sheeter Arrested for Stealing Two-Wheeler in Seven Wells

The Seven Wells police arrested a 32-year-old history-sheeter from Ponneri for stealing a two-wheeler parked outside a house. The accused, identified as M. Balaji, worked as a sales executive for a private company and resided on Veerasamy Street in Seven Wells. On March 21, 2023, Balaji parked his two-wheeler outside his house, only to find it missing the next morning.

He filed a complaint with the Seven Wells police, who launched an investigation. Analyzing CCTV footage, the police identified the suspect as A. Rafiq of Hariharan Bazaar Street in Ponneri. Upon raiding Rafiq’s house, they recovered five stolen two-wheelers, including Balaji’s. Rafiq, with eight criminal cases pending against him in various police stations, was apprehended by the police.
