Heartwarming Rakhi Moment Interrupts Punjab CM’s Speech
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s speech was interrupted during a state-level function at Guru Nanak Dev University, when a woman from the audience approached the dais, requesting to tie a rakhi on his wrist. The Chief Minister, attending an event to distribute appointment letters to women Anganwadi workers, graciously accepted the request, stopping his speech midway.
As the woman tied the rakhi on his wrist, he affectionately blessed her and even borrowed cash from a nearby person to gift her. The Chief Minister resumed his address emotionally, while earlier in the day, he sternly directed disciplinary action against revenue officials planning an agitation in favor of corrupt colleagues, emphasizing that public inconvenience will not be tolerated.
