Headmaster Suspended for Allegedly Throwing Acid at Student Cleaning Toilets
The headmaster of a government school in Jodichikkenahalli, Karnataka, has been suspended following allegations that he threw acid, which was meant for cleaning toilets, at a girl student. The incident occurred when students returned to school after the Dasara vacation.
The headmaster had instructed students to clean the toilets, and when an eight-year-old second-standard student, Sinchana, approached the area despite being told not to, the headmaster reportedly threw the acid on her. As a result, the girl suffered serious burn injuries on her back and was hospitalized. While the headmaster claimed the act was accidental, Sinchana’s mother called for action against him, leading to his suspension.
