Former Minister T. Harish Rao, speaking at the Patancheru and L.B. Nagar Assembly Constituency-level meetings, emphasized that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is committed to safeguarding Telangana’s interests, both locally and nationally. Rao criticized the Congress Government for directing its energy towards targeting BRS instead of fulfilling the promises made during the elections.
He urged the ruling party to implement at least the six guarantees, if not the over 400 promises made during the campaign. Harish Rao highlighted the discrepancies in the Congress timeline, asserting that the government should have already implemented promises such as farm loan waivers and social security pensions by now.
He criticized the BJP for leveraging the Ram temple issue for political gains while highlighting that the BRS, despite constructing the Yadadri temple, refrained from such tactics. The meetings were attended by various party leaders and representatives.
