Israeli Military Intelligence and Shin Bet are currently interrogating more than 500 Hamas militants arrested from the Gaza Strip. The detainees are being questioned on various issues, including the October 7 massacre and the planning behind significant attacks. Among those arrested are middle and senior operatives of the militant group.
This development follows Defense Minister Yoav Gallant’s statement that Hamas is facing internal challenges, with units in northern Gaza reportedly crumbling. Gallant also mentioned the likelihood of targeting senior Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, stating that IDF soldiers are conducting extensive searches in the Khan Younis area where Sinwar and another top militant, Mohammed Deif, are believed to be hiding.
