On his 91st birthday, former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda spoke publicly for the first time about the sex abuse allegations against his grandson Prajwal Revanna and the abduction case involving his son, H.D. Revanna.
While asserting that legal action should proceed against Prajwal, he claimed the cases against H.D. Revanna were fabricated to target him. Gowda supported his son’s recent bail and urged justice for all victims involved. His remarks reinforced the family’s stance, previously articulated by H.D. Kumaraswamy, against what they see as politically motivated charges orchestrated by state authorities and Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar.
