Greater Chennai Corporation speed up flood mitigation infrastucture work

The Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner J. Radhakrishnan conducted the meeting with 12 civic agencies for flood mitigation work near Gandhi Irwin Road. He said that the infrastructure work will be completed in two months. The 12 civic agencies organized a meeting to resolve work-related issues reported during the project implementation.

And also he pointed out the need for coordination to complete the flood mitigation work along GP Road in one month. For road cutting TNEB would complete work at 15 locations. Similarly, the bridge construction work at the Ganesapuram subway would be sped up with the coordination of Railways. And for the development of stormwater drains the traffic police promised to give permission for the digging of roads.
