Grand Conclusion to Smart India Hackathon-2023 in Vijayawada
The two-day Smart India Hackathon (SIH)-2023, hosted at PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology in Vijayawada, concluded on a high note with a thrilling finale on December 20. The event, dedicated to finding innovative solutions to problem statements in various domains, featured 27 teams comprising 162 participants.
Winning teams, including ‘AeroVine’ from Rajasthan, ‘GDA’ from Maharashtra, ‘MRECW B33’ from Telangana, ‘Pegasus’ from Karnataka, and ‘Codiee’ from Maharashtra, were awarded cash prizes of ₹1 lakh each, along with certificates and trophies. An additional ₹50,000 prize for ‘SeedShare’ was awarded by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
PVP Siddhartha College, selected as the nodal center, successfully organized the 36-hour software edition of SIH-2023, attracting participants from across the country. The event focused on problem statements related to Smart Education, Disaster Management, Hospitality, Entertainment and Retail, Blockchain and Cyber Security, and Sustainable Energy. The successful execution was overseen by a core committee from PVP College, and the event was jointly sponsored by Siddhartha Academy and Canara Bank, with prize money sponsored by AICTE.
