Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan emphasized the intact law and order situation in the state, pointing to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan’s street roaming in Kozhikode. Vijayan highlighted that Kerala provides a safe and comfortable environment, stating that very few places in the country can match it.
He dismissed concerns about potential attacks on the Governor, assuring that Kerala Police would maintain Z-plus category security. Vijayan accused the central government of causing a financial crisis, noting a cumulative loss of around ₹1,07,500 crore since 2016 due to reduced tax share and revenue deficit grant.
