Gang Arrested for Attempted Murder in Chennai

The Vadapalani police in Chennai apprehended four individuals in connection with a violent assault on two men in Vadapalani. The victims, R. Harish and M. Sathish were attacked by a gang of five wielding weapons during an altercation outside a tea shop on Pudhu Vellalar Street. Both victims sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized for treatment.

Following a complaint from the victim’s parents, the police detained four suspects and seized weapons and a vehicle used in the attack. Investigations revealed a previous dispute between one of the suspects and a friend of the victims, leading to the violent altercation. Authorities are actively pursuing the fifth suspect, who remains at large.
