Four Charged with Murder of Indian-Origin Delivery Driver in England
Four men have been charged with the murder of a 23-year-old Indian-origin delivery driver, Aurman Singh, who was ambushed by a machete-wielding gang in Shrewsbury, western England. Singh, employed by Dynamic Parcel Distribution, was fatally attacked while delivering parcels on August 21. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he couldn’t be saved.
The West Mercia Police have charged Arshdeep Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Shivdeep Singh, and Manjot Singh in connection with the murder. Witnesses reported seeing armed men with machetes and baseball bats in the area. The police have reassured residents that the suspects are not local to the Shrewsbury area. The motive for the murder is under investigation, with the police ruling out robbery.
Singh’s family expressed their grief, stating that the impact of the tragedy is immeasurable, and thanked the police for their support during this difficult time.
