Former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) took the oath as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) on Thursday. The oath was administered by State Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. KCR, who recently underwent hip surgery, had been recovering at home after fracturing his hip bone shortly after the State Assembly elections-2023 results.
Accompanied by several MLAs and using a walking stick, KCR arrived at the State Assembly premises for the ceremony. He won the election from the Gajwel Assembly constituency. After the oath, KCR visited the Leader of the Opposition’s chamber to perform puja.
