Former IPS Officer Praveen Kumar Joins BRS, Criticizes Congress Threats

In a significant political move, former IPS officer R.S. Praveen Kumar has joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), along with his supporters, in the presence of BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Gajwel. Kumar emphasized that his decision to join BRS is driven by a commitment to serve the people rather than personal gain, contrasting it with alleged pressure from BSP’s Mayawati to sever ties with BRS.

He criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s attempts to intimidate him for his decision, asserting his resolve not to succumb to threats or join the Congress despite invitations.
