In the first 10 months of 2023, Cambodia’s Angkor Archaeological Park witnessed a significant increase in foreign tourists, with a total of 602,570 visitors from 193 countries and regions. This marked a 256% rise compared to the same period in the previous year, where 169,257 tourists were recorded. The top four sources of international visitors during January-October 2023 were the United States, Britain, France, and China.
The recently launched Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is expected to further contribute to Cambodia’s tourism by attracting more international tourists. The Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans 401 square kilometers and is a popular destination in Cambodia.
