Five Arrested for Serial Robberies in Puzhal and Koyambedu

Police in Puzhal have arrested five individuals suspected of being involved in at least seven robberies in the area. The investigation began when a man was robbed at knifepoint of ₹2,000 by five persons on two motorcycles. Subsequent analysis of CCTV footage revealed their involvement in similar incidents in Puzhal and Koyambedu.

The suspects, identified as Azhagarsamy, M. Murthy, M. Nagaraj, Dhanushkumar, and Jayasuriya, all in their late teens, were apprehended. Authorities also recovered a gold chain, two motorcycles, three mobile phones, and a knife from the group.
