Fire Breaks Out at Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam, Patients Trapped
A fire erupted at the Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam, leading to a situation where several patients were reportedly trapped inside. The incident occurred on Thursday, and emergency response teams, including four fire tenders, were swiftly deployed to the site to combat the blaze. Firefighting personnel, police, and other rescue workers engaged in evacuation efforts, and approximately 40 patients were shifted to other hospitals.
The fire is believed to have started on the first floor of the hospital at Jagadamba Circle in Visakhapatnam, with a short circuit suspected as the cause. Senior police officials were on the scene overseeing the rescue and evacuation operations.
