In a distressing incident in the Badaun district, a man named Mahesh brutally hacked his daughter and her boyfriend to death on Tuesday morning in an apparent case of honour killing. The 20-year-old boyfriend, Sachin, had visited his girlfriend against her family’s wishes, sparking the tragic event.
The father, witnessing the couple together at 4:30 am, flew into a rage, attacking them with a shovel and killing them on the spot. Following the crime, Mahesh surrendered at the Bilsi police station. The police are investigating the matter, and a case has been registered against the girl’s father based on a complaint from Sachin’s family.
