Father and Son Arrested for Hoisting Pakistan Flag at Residence, Charged with Treason
A father and son have been apprehended on charges of treason after they raised a Pakistan flag at their residence, an act captured on video and circulated on the internet. The incident unfolded in Budhanpur village within the Bhagatpur police circle. Upon receiving information about the Pakistani flag display at the home of Raees, a textile businessman, the police swiftly intervened, removing the flag and detaining both Raees and his son Salman.
The police have invoked Sections 153A and 153B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the accused for their alleged involvement in treasonous activities. In addition to police questioning, the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) is conducting an investigation. Both individuals are scheduled to appear in court later in the day.
