Tragedy struck near Kelambakkam as a 35-year-old motorist lost his life after falling from his vehicle on Tuesday night. The victim, identified as R. Kali, was returning home from work when he suddenly lost control of his two-wheeler on the Kelambakkam-Vandalur Road. Unfortunately, his head struck a rock upon falling, resulting in severe injuries.
Despite immediate assistance from bystanders and transportation to Thiruporur Government Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, with the victim’s body undergoing a post-mortem examination at Government Chromepet Hospital.
