A tragic accident near Pallavaram resulted in the death of 25-year-old Muthuvel, an ambulance driver, when a concrete-mixer truck collided with his two-wheeler at the Grand Southern Trunk Road-Thiruneermalai Road junction.
Muthuvel’s friend, Deva, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. The police have arrested the truck driver, Thangapandi, and Muthuvel’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination at Chromepet Government Hospital.
