Fatal Accident at Stone Crushing Unit Leads to Arrests

In a tragic incident near Moovarasampet, a 44-year-old man from Tirusulam was crushed to death at a stone crushing unit. On Thursday at 1 a.m., a truck unloaded a load of stones near a crusher machine, inadvertently burying V. Maharaja, who was sleeping nearby.

The Pallavaram police, alerted by the workers, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem to Chromepet Government Hospital. The truck driver, K. Murugan, along with helpers L. Velu and M. Ayappan, were arrested for their involvement in the fatal accident.
