Extended Chennai Metro Rail Services for IPL Match Attendees

In light of the upcoming IPL match at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced extended services until 1 a.m. on Wednesday to facilitate spectators’ return home. Passengers are encouraged to purchase online tickets to avoid queues, with single-journey tickets available at counters in Government Estate and Chennai Central Metro stations after the match.

However, post 11:00 p.m., train services will commence solely from Government Estate Metro, facilitating travel towards Chennai Central Metro, where passengers can transition to the Green Line for further destinations like Anna Nagar and Koyambedu.
