Expanding Eye Care Access: Sankara Nethralaya’s Initiative in Tondiarpet

Sankara Nethralaya, in collaboration with the Medical Research Foundation and Agastya Charitable Trust, is set to establish a dedicated ophthalmic facility in Tondiarpet. Aimed at addressing the growing demand for quality and affordable eye care services in north Chennai, the project’s foundation stone was laid by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.

Named Agastya TNK Family Sankara Nethralaya, the facility’s Phase I will encompass a 50,000-square feet branch offering specialized treatments in various eye care domains. This initiative reflects Sankara Nethralaya’s commitment to extending patient care services to underserved communities.
