In a harrowing incident in the Gulf of Thailand, passengers aboard a ferry bound for Koh Tao were forced to jump into the sea to escape a raging fire that engulfed the vessel. The ferry, carrying 108 individuals, including 97 passengers, faced turmoil when smoke and flames erupted suddenly, prompting panicked reactions among those on board.
Videos captured the chaotic scene as passengers rushed to don life vests and evacuate the ferry amidst thick black smoke. Thankfully, rescue efforts swiftly ensued, with boats arriving to aid the stranded passengers within 20 minutes of the distress call. Despite the intensity of the situation, authorities reported that all individuals were safely rescued, averting any casualties.
