Entry Fees to Vandalur Zoo and Other Tamil Nadu Parks Set to Increase

Entry ticket fees for several prominent zoos and parks in Tamil Nadu, including the Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP) in Vandalur, are set to increase. The government order, issued on September 4, will raise the ticket price for adults at AAZP from ₹115 to ₹200. The fee for battery-operated vehicles will also go up from ₹100 to ₹150. Notably, the fee for foreigners entering AAZP will be reduced from ₹515 to ₹200, matching the fee for Indian visitors.

Additionally, vehicle charges for lion and deer safari will increase, and parking fees will now be on a flat rate basis. The revised rates are expected to come into effect from October 1, 2023.
