Ensuring Strict Adherence to Model Code of Conduct in NTR District

Collector S. Dilli Rao, along with police officials, emphasized the earnest implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the NTR district, with special teams and flying squads deployed for enforcement. Removal of unauthorized political advertisements and banners has been prioritized, with violators facing strict action under relevant laws.

With 16,83,000 registered voters as of March 16, efforts are underway to facilitate voter registration and address any discrepancies in the electoral roll. Collaboration among various departments, including Police, Revenue, and Excise, aims to maintain MCC standards, supported by an integrated control room for complaint registration.

Additionally, the police department has seized contraband items and ensured compliance with firearm regulations, while enhancing security through active inter-state checkposts and nighttime inspections.
