In a shocking incident, a group of five or six individuals hurled country-made bombs at a rowdy and subsequently pursued and assaulted him with long knives outside the Chengalpattu District Court Complex. The victim, critically injured in the attack, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Chengalpattu Government Hospital for treatment.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) stated that the assault was a result of past enmity, and a thorough investigation is underway to apprehend the culprits responsible for the incident.
