Elderly Woman Astrologer Hacked to Death in Karnataka, Rape Suspected

In a tragic incident in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district, a 65-year-old woman astrologer named Ratna Bai was brutally murdered, with the police suspecting sexual assault before the killing. The gruesome incident took place in Kalaburagi city’s Santhosh Colony late Tuesday night. Living alone in a shed, the victim was hacked to death with a sharp-edged weapon.

RJ Nagar police are conducting the investigation, and preliminary findings suggest that the crime may have involved more than one perpetrator. The police also suspect that individuals known to the elderly woman may be involved in the heinous act.
