ED Raids Rajasthan Congress President’s Residences and Summons Chief Minister’s Son

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at the residences of Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra in connection with the paper leak case and summoned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son in a Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) case. In response, Chief Minister Gehlot posted a message on social media, suggesting that the ED’s actions were politically motivated, just weeks ahead of the crucial November 25 Assembly elections in the state.

The ED teams searched Dotasra’s private residence in Sikar and his government residence in Civil Lines, Jaipur. Simultaneous raids were conducted at a total of 11 locations in the state, including the premises of independent MLA Omprakash Hudla in Dausa and Jaipur. The ED also raided the houses of Hudla’s associates and individuals connected to the paper leak case.

The raids followed allegations by BJP leaders of Congress leaders’ involvement in the paper leak case, with the state Congress president attacking the Centre and BJP for the ED’s actions.
