ED Raids Locations in Rajasthan in Connection with Jal Jeevan Mission Money Laundering Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several locations in Rajasthan, including the premises of former Congress Minister Mahesh Joshi, as part of an investigation into a money laundering case related to the Jal Jeevan Mission scam. About 10 ED teams from Jaipur, Delhi, and Gujarat participated in the raids, targeting Joshi’s residences, two contractors of the water supply department, and the homes of two department officials.

The ED has been probing the Jal Jeevan Mission scam for the past six months and seized fake bills related to purchases made for the mission. Joshi and his family were questioned, and the investigating agency may issue a notice for him to appear at the ED headquarters.
