DMK Functionary Brutally Murdered Near Vandalur

Tragedy struck near Vandalur as V.S. Aramudhan, a prominent DMK functionary, was viciously hacked to death by a gang on Thursday night. Aramudhan, also the deputy chairman of the Kattankulathur Panchayat Union, fell victim to the assailants’ onslaught as he was en route to inspect an under-construction bus shelter.

The gang’s violent attack, involving petrol bombs and knives, resulted in Aramudhan sustaining fatal injuries despite efforts to flee. The incident has sparked tension in the area, prompting an immediate police investigation and heightened security measures.
