Devotees Flock to Ayodhya as Ram Temple Opens Doors to Public
The newly consecrated Ram temple in Ayodhya opened its doors to the general public, drawing throngs of devotees from various parts of the country. A significant number of locals and visitors eagerly gathered near the main gateway, Ram Path, leading to the temple complex, from the night of January 22. Devotees, carrying flags with Lord Ram’s visages and chanting “Jai Shri Ram,” patiently waited in the cold until the grand temple’s doors opened on January 23 morning.
Many had camped in Ayodhya for days, expressing their joy at witnessing the culmination of their ancestors’ struggle. The temple inauguration and consecration ceremony have attracted devotees from different states, symbolizing the deep-rooted significance of the Ram temple in the hearts of millions of people.
