Delhi Police Warns Against False Bomb Threat Messages

Delhi Police issued a statement appealing to people not to believe false audio messages circulating on WhatsApp groups regarding the bomb threat received by schools in Delhi-NCR.

The police clarified that the messages claiming suspicious objects were found in some schools are false and have no truth to them. They urged the public to disregard these messages and refrain from spreading misinformation. Around 200 schools in Delhi-NCR received identical threat emails on Wednesday, triggering panic and massive evacuations. However, subsequent searches by authorities found nothing, leading to the declaration of the threat as a hoax.
