Delhi Police Special Cell Arrests Sharpshooters Linked to International Terrorist

In a dramatic operation, the Delhi Police Special Cell apprehended two sharpshooters associated with the gangster-turned-international terrorist Arshdeep Singh, also known as Arsh Dalla, based in Canada. The accused, identified as Rajpreet Singh (Raja alias Bamb) and Virender Singh (Vimmy), both residents of Punjab, were arrested after an exchange of fire near Akshardham Mandir in Mayur Vihar.

During the encounter, the police fired six rounds, hitting the bulletproof jacket of the accused, while one of them sustained a gunshot to the right leg. The seized weapons include a .45 mm revolver, a .30 mm pistol, a hand grenade, and a stolen bike. The interrogation revealed a plot to assassinate singer Elly Mangat, attempted in October 2023, and the duo’s involvement in criminal activities on the orders of Arshdeep.

Additionally, a raid in Uttar Pradesh led to the apprehension of another associate, Sachin Bhati, suspected to possess a significant arsenal. The arrested individuals were also wanted in murder and extortion cases, highlighting the intricate web of criminality associated with Arshdeep Singh.
