Delhi HC Rejects Plea to Postpone CA Inter and Final Exams

The Delhi High Court dismissed a plea seeking directions to postpone the Chartered Accountants (CA) Inter and Final examinations till June. The bench of Justice C. Harishankar questioned if there was a law prohibiting exams during Lok Sabha elections. Asserting that no such rule exists, the court rejected the plea.

The petitioners argued that the exam schedule clashes with the Lok Sabha election dates and requested rescheduling post-elections. Despite the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) revising the exam dates, aspirants still sought a change, leading to the petition.
