Cyclone Fengal Brings Cloudy Weather and Light Rain to Karnataka

The impact of Cyclone Fengal has led to cloudy skies and light to moderate rainfall in Bengaluru and surrounding districts, including Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, and Chamarajanagara. Bengaluru woke up to a cloudy Saturday morning, with the cyclone moving towards landfall between Karaikal and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu.

IMD scientist D. Puviarasan confirmed that Fengal is weakening as it approaches landfall, reducing its overall impact on Karnataka. While Bengaluru is expected to see lighter rain, moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast in Mandya, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar districts by Monday, December 2, 2024. During this period, daytime temperatures will remain around 26°C, with nighttime lows of 17°C.
