Cyberabad Police Warn Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Against Protests for Chandrababu Naidu
As the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) plans further protests against the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Information Technology corridor scam, the Cyberabad police issued a stern warning to organizers. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Madhapur, Sundeep, clarified that no permission had been granted for the planned protests by the TDP and IT employees in and around Madhapur.
The DCP cautioned that any violations or messages circulating about the protests on social media would result in strict legal action against participants and those sharing such messages. TDP leaders had scheduled an hour-long protest at Manikonda Marrichettu junction, along with IT employees, and a car rally on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
Naidu’s arrest in a multi-crore Skill Development Corporation scam has generated support among tech professionals who view him as instrumental in establishing Hyderabad’s global IT presence.
