Crackdown on Black Market Ticket Sales at IPL Match in Chennai

Chennai City police conducted a swift operation, arresting 24 individuals involved in the illegal sale of IPL cricket match tickets.

The arrests came following intensive surveillance around Chepauk stadium during the Chennai Super Kings vs. Gujarat Titans match. Authorities seized 83 tickets valued at over ₹2 lakh along with ₹18,000 in cash from the apprehended suspects, cracking down on the black market ticket trade.
