Congress Gears Up for 2024 Polls with State-level Workers’ Conventions
In preparation for the 2024 general elections, the Indian National Congress is set to conduct State-level workers’ conventions, with the first one scheduled for January 25 in Telangana. Congress party chief Mallikarjun Kharge will preside over these meetings to energize organizational cadres. The conventions will continue in various states, including Uttarakhand, Odisha, Delhi, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and Jharkhand, until February 15.
These efforts are part of the Congress’ strategy to gear up for the upcoming elections, and the party is concurrently conducting the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi. Kharge emphasized the need for unity and teamwork to ensure Congress’ success in the elections during a key party meeting earlier this month.
