The Congress has accused the Modi government of conspiring to implicate opposition leaders in the Parliament security breach case. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed that the government is pressuring those arrested in the case to take the names of opposition leaders to divert attention from its own actions.
He alleged that the government, known for misusing agencies like the ED, CBI, and IT department, is now hatching another conspiracy. Ramesh highlighted the suspension of 146 opposition MPs who raised concerns over security lapses and criticized the government for not taking action against the BJP MP who provided passes to the intruders. The accused individuals claimed they were tortured to confess their association with opposition parties.
