Concerns Over Health of Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Jail
Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has expressed deep concerns about his health while he is detained in Rajahmundry Central Jail. Naidu has been in custody for over a month following his arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in the skill development scam case. His wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, and daughter-in-law, N. Brahmani, stated that Naidu has lost 5 kilograms in jail, and further weight loss could seriously impact his kidneys.
He is reportedly suffering from dehydration and skin allergies due to the harsh conditions. The family claims that the government of Andhra Pradesh has failed to provide him with the necessary medical care. Jail authorities have stated that Naidu’s vital parameters are normal and there is no cause for concern. His son, Nara Lokesh, recently complained to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the conditions in jail, alleging political vendetta by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
