Cold Day in Delhi as Temperature Dips to 8.6 Degrees Celsius

Delhi experienced a minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday, slightly above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The forecast indicated that the maximum temperature for the day would be around 15 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of approximately 9 degrees.

The IMD categorized the day as a “cold day to severe cold day.” The Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport witnessed dense fog with visibility ranging from 50m to 100m in the early hours. The air quality in the city remained in the ‘very poor’ category at various monitoring stations, with PM2.5 and PM10 levels reflecting elevated pollution levels.
