CM Yogi Visits Hospital After Food Poisoning Incident at Shelter Home

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Lokbandhu Shri Raj Narayan Combined Hospital in Lucknow after a tragic food poisoning incident claimed the lives of four children at a government-run shelter home.

The incident, which occurred at Nirvana Rajkiya Bal Grah in Lucknow, left several other children hospitalized with symptoms of severe dehydration, vomiting, and diarrhea.

CM Adityanath met the affected children and reassured their families that proper treatment was being provided. The cause of the illness remains under investigation, with authorities examining the food and living conditions at the shelter.

Many of the children affected were mentally challenged, raising concerns about the adequacy of supervision and care at the facility. An inquiry has been ordered by the District Magistrate to determine the exact cause and ensure accountability.
