Chirag Paswan Declares Assets Worth ₹2.68 Crore in Nomination Affidavit

Chirag Paswan, the president of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), who is contesting the election from the Hajipur Lok Sabha seat as an NDA nominee, has declared movable and immovable assets worth ₹2.68 crore in his nomination affidavit. Filed before the Returning Officer along with his nomination papers, the affidavit states that Paswan has movable assets worth ₹1.66 crore and immovable assets worth ₹1.02 crore.

His movable assets include cash, bank accounts, and gold jewellery, while his immovable asset is a house worth ₹1.02 crore in Patna. Paswan is also a director and shareholder in six private firms. Hajipur Lok Sabha seat, previously represented by his father, late Ram Vilas Paswan, is scheduled for polls in the fifth phase on May 20.
